The Smithereens at Ardmore Music Hall
Anyone who went to college in the mid-’80s should remember Carteret, N.J.’s Smithereens. The powerful live outfit had a short string of memorable hits, including “A Girl Like You” and “Behind the Wall of Sleep.” All were sung by band leader Pat DiNizio, who passed away in 2017 at 62. The group continues to perform with help from fill-in vocalists. This show features Marshall Crenshaw, a minor ’80s legend in his own right. Visit ardmoremusichall.com
